Village Glen Front Desk Staff

Deb Castellan - Front Desk Supervisor

Deb Castellan, aka court reporter, was hired in 1994 as a Front Desk employee.  Through the years she has worn many different hats;  Front Desk Supervisor, Contract Court Coordinator, Operations Supervisor, Child Care Supervisor, Member Services Representative, Marketing and Advertising Assistant, Buffalo Bills Tennis Futures Tournament (Presented By Channel 2) Director’s Assistant, Vending /Pro Shop Inventory Representative, and even Maintenance Crew Member!  She, with her wit and sarcasm works full time at the Front Desk and in the office doing some of the “behind the scenes” covert operations.  Deb is the “Court Reporter” and also the “VG At A Glance” email culprit.

Besides seeing your pretty little faces, Deb is happy to be playing tennis, cheering on her tennis friends, visiting her family in Rochester and spending time with her Husband, James Horne and their kids/monsters, Zoey, Max, Lexie and Christian.

Jessica LOVES the theater life and travels to NYC often to indulge in many performances! Jessica is also an event photographer (wedding, parties, etc.), a freelance modeling photographer and she designs book covers for an author!  Jessica participates in many Superhero Alliance Charitable Events as a photographer AND as a character.

Krissy Sirface

Krissy has been with VG since September of 2016.  Although Krissy may work at our lovely tennis club, she does not have much experience with tennis YET. So, if she offers to be a stand in on your court, just know if you’re looking to win, you may want to put her on the other side of the net.

Besides working the desk, you may find her reading, modeling, drawing, or studying. Krissy loves performing for charitable services as your favorite Disney and Marvel/DC characters.  Feel free to ask her what she’s up to! She loves talking and getting to know the many faces that come to the club.

Back Office Staff

Tracy Irving - Assistant to the Director of Tennis

Tracy started working for Village Glen in 1997 as a front desk receptionist. It wasn't long before she assisted the back office with filing, mailings and memberships cards. At the end of 1999, Tracy was offered a full time position of daily processing and contract courts. By mid 2000, she challenged herself by taking on billing, bank reconciliations, and Front Desk Manager Duties.  Tracy was promoted to Assistant Tennis Director of both Village Glen and SouthTowns Tennis Clubs in September of 2008.

It has been over 20 years since starting at Village Glen. She has created long lasting friendships with many co workers, pros and members. Finally, after working at the Village Glen for over ten years she decided to find out why so many people are devoted to tennis. At last, she knows why!  She played in a USTA 2.5 women's league the summer of 2008. Her team was undefeated and went to Sectionals.  Tracy quickly moved up the ranks and is currently a 3.5-level player who has captained many USTA league teams; some of which have gone to Regionals and Sectionals!

Tracy and her husband, Jamie enjoy playing tennis, boating and spending time with their son, Jayden, and daughter, Jessica.  Tracy has also started a new endeavor as a Thirty One Sales Consultant.
